Pinecastle Records has added bluegrass sensation The Dixie Bee-Liners to their already dynamic roster.

With a dedicated following and debut album voted one of the “Best of 2006″ by Bluegrass Now; The Dixie Bee-Liners are already creating a buzz in the bluegrass world. This buzz has already generated excellent opportunities for the band with appearances on the BBC Scotland, the Food Network, and their song “Lord, Lay Down My Ball & Chain” is featured in an upcoming film entitled American Shopper. Signing with Pinecastle hopes to open many more doors for the band

“We are just thrilled and excited to become part of the Pinecastle family, one of the top record companies within the bluegrass genre for over 16 years. We’re big fans of Larry Stephenson, Wildfire, John Cowan, Special Consensus, Grasstowne, the great Jack Cooke, and all the other Pinecastle artists, and are honored to be joining them.”

The legendary Bil VornDick, who has worked with everyone from Bob Dylan to Ralph Stanley, will produce and engineer the band’s debut record on Pinecastle.

“Pinecastle has a great reputation in the bluegrass radio arena, and we hope to see our music having distribution to stations worldwide so our fans – new and old — won’t have to search too far to hear us.”
