“Bigger and Better Than Ever” at Bluegrass in The Smokies

“Bigger and Better Than Ever” is the theme of the eighth annual Bluegrass in The Smokies Festival, which runs Aug. 23-25 at Riverside RV Park and Resort, 4280 Boyd’s Creek Highway, in Sevierville, TN 37873.

Festival promoter Jeremy Fritts believes he’ll deliver on the chosen theme.

Scheduled to appear over the three days are Larry Sparks, The Claire Lynch
Band, Blue Highway, Alecia Nugent, IIIrd Tyme Out, Bradley Walker, Paul
Williams and the Victory Trio, The Anita Fisher Band with Ray Deaton,
The Fritts Family, The Virginia Cross Ties, The Dean Osborne Band, The
VW Boys, as well as instrumental workshops by Tim Stafford, Jim Hurst, and E. C. Miller.

Added to the festival this year are guitar, banjo and band competitions. A combined value of $10,000 is being offered in the band contest.

Advance ticket orders must be placed before Aug. 13.
