Get in for a song at Flat Rock Music Festival

The Flat Rock Music Festival, in Flat Rock, North Carolina has released the official call for entries for their 2007 Song Contest. This nationally recognized contest is part of the highly acclaimed Flat Rock Music Festival and features cash prizes and a chance for finalists to compete on the Main Stage at the festival. This year the popular contest is sponsored by famecast, an on-line songwriter’s stage. Festival dates are September 28-30th, 2007 with the finalists competing on Saturday September 29th in Flat Rock, NC; a beautiful town just outside of Asheville, NC.

The Flat Rock Music Festival Song Contest is a fast growing contest that expects to attract a record number of great songs from the US, Canada and the UK. Finalist will get a free weekend pass to the festival and will perform on the Main Stage - along with the Festival’s featured performers: The Waybacks, the subdudes, Rod Picott and Barefoot Manner.

Judges for the event will include music professionals from throughout the industry -record producers, music promoters, sound engineers and songwriters. Songs from all categories of music are welcomed. There is no limit on the number of entries a songwriter may submit. Deadline for entries to be postmarked is August 31st, 2007.
