Greenbo Lake, KY Heritage Fest to Feature Bluegrass Music

The Colonel Bill Williams Greenup Heritage Music Festival, held Aug 17-19 at the Greenbo Lake State Resort Park in Kentucky, will feature bluegrass and country music on Saturday Aug 18th.

Festivities will get under way around 2:00 PM on Saturday with the “Just a Fiddlin’ ” fiddle contest that is scheduled to run until 5:00 PM.

After a quick dinner break the show will start at 6:00 with Stephen Salyers. Don Rigsby, Larry Cordle, Joe Isaccs, and America’s Bluegrass Band will round out the nights lineup of entertainment.

Tickets for the day are $15.00 (children under 10 free) or you can purchase a three day pass for $25.00 that includes blues music on Friday Night from 6:00 - 10:15 PM and a gospel show on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. Lawn chairs and/or blankets are recommend.
