Dayton Ohio’s Classic Country Radio announces new personality

Veteran Dayton area radio personality, Butch Brown, recently joined the staff of Classic Country Radio, WBZI AM 1500 in Xenia, WKFI AM 1090 in Wilmington and WEDI AM 1130 in Eaton as an account executive and weekend radio host. He made his debut on the Classic Country Radio airwaves Saturday, January 12th, and will be heard each Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Brown’s first radio jobs were in Washington Courthouse at WCHO doing mornings and WCHI in Chillicothe sign on to sign off on Sundays.
Brown is married to former radio personality, Karen Kelly, and together they have four children.
The Classic Country Radio network, owned and operated by area broadcaster and musician, Joe Mullins, simulcasts a unique mix of entertainment and information. The combined signals reach all of southwestern Ohio as well as parts of northern Kentucky and eastern Indiana. Programming is also broadcast via the Internet at www.myclassiccountry.com.
