Pinecastle Records is tooting The Dixie Bee-Liners‘ horn again — and with just cause.

The band’s single, “Down On The Crooked Road,” has made it to No. 1 on the Roots Music Report’s bluegrass chart.

The single is the first release from the Bee-Liners’ first full-length album, “Ripe,” which won’t even be released until April 15.

“This news is especially exciting because the project is still in the pre-release stages,” said band member Brandi Hart, “We’re so very grateful to all our friends and fans who’ve been eagerly requesting us on the radio.”

Promoting the new album, Pinecastle Records launched a CD giveaway that runs through April 15. Ten winners will each receive a copy of the new album. No purchase is required.

People can go to www.pinecastle.com/contest_details.asp to enter the giveaway.
