Look for a couple of special guests when the Williams & Clark Expedition releases a new CD in late spring.

The band is in the process of recording its fifth CD, which will feature songs and instrumentals contributed by each member of the band as well as a couple of crowd favorites the group performs at its concerts.

Buck White added a piano track to a swing tune, “Goodbye Heartache, Hello You,” which was written by Wayne Southards and Blake Williams, and Claire Lynch put down a harmony vocal track to Kimberly Williams’ lead on a song entitled, “Heaven on Earth.”

Kimberly Williams reports the CD is scheduled for release in May.

Meanwhile, the band has posted photos of the third annual Bluegrass Cruise on its Web site, http://www.williamsandclarkexpedition.com.

Here’s where you can catch the band in concert over the next few weeks:

March 29, Wilmington, Ohio, Southern Ohio Indoor Festival
April 11, Waterford, Mich., Oakland Community College
April 12, Two Rivers, Wis., Two Rivers Concert Series
April 18, Morehead City, N.C. Crystal Coast Civic Center (with Rhonda Vincent & The Rage)
