Bluegrass Now calls it quits on the “print” edition
Country Standard Time is reporting that Bluegrass Now, one of the leading Bluegrass Magazines on the market will cease publication of the printed version of the magazine after the April issue.
Bluegrass Now will move completely to an online digital format, bringing the same quality content that was presented in the printed version. The move online will also alllow the publicaiton to expand it’s offering into the realm of multi-media content including audio and video.
“It was a hard decision to make. We’ve worked on this literally for two years. I’ve had (talks with) a group of publishers for the past two years literally from coast to coast. They’re experiencing many of the same kind of concerns that I was.”
“Although this decision was initially quite difficult for a retired academic who has lived by the printed word for more than half a century, I am truly excited about being in the vanguard of multimedia publishing in the bluegrass community.Wayne Bledsoe, via Country Standard Time
