Riverbend Bluegrass Festival kicks off this Thursday
The Riverbend Bluegrass Festival will get underway this coming Thursday, April 17 near Ocilla, GA. for a 3 day run.
The Festival will present a children’s Bluegrass music workshop at 11:00 am Saturday morning in conjunction with The Bonded Brotherhood of Bluegrass at the Brotherhood shelter. The workshop will include an introduction to Bluegrass and demonstrations of various Bluegrass instruments.
The lineup for the festival includes: The Chapmans, Lou Reid and Carolina, Grasstowne, Ernie Thacker and Route 23, Jerry and Tammy Sullivan, Skip Grounds and Ramblin’ Grass and the Riverbend Bluegrass Band.
The Campground features RV sites with water and electric, tent camping, bathing facilities and dump stations available on site.
Ocilla, GA also has a brand new hotel in town for festival attendees looking for more comfortable confines. The Regent Inn is located on North Irwin Ave in Ocilla, GA. The Regent Inn’s phone number is 912-468-3350
