Country Gentlemen Reunion Band Releases New CD

And, in case you need first names, the players are Eddie Adcock, Jimmy Gaudreau, Randy Waller and Tom Gray.
The 13-track CD features four songs from the late Randall Hylton’s catalog, some classics and a “El Doggo,” a new instrumental written by Gaudreau.

Eddie and Martha Adcock served as producers and executive producers and played a major role in mixing down the final tracks.

The Isaacs will perform at ROMP June, 26 as part of the annual Legends Concert.Fans of bluegrass gospel should be prepared to …. well, romp at the annual ROMP sponsored by the International Bluegrass Music Museum June 26-28 in Owensboro, Ky.
The festival has lined up three of the biggest bluegrass gospel groups on the circuit today for its annual Legends concert, slated from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 26. Appearing will be The Sullivans, the Lewis Family and The Isaacs. If that’s not enough, consider this: Ron Thomason of Dry Branch Fire Squad will serve as the evening’s emcee. The show will take place at Riverpark Center.
ROMP shows Friday and Saturday will be held at Yellow Creek Park.
Friday’s lineup includes Lost and Found, Country Ham, the Larry Stephenson Band, Sauber & Graham, Red Wine, Hazel Dickens, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Dale Ann Bradley and Mike Snider.
Performing Saturday will be Cherryholmes, Dailey & Vincent, Infamous Stringdusters, Cadillac Sky, Claire Lynch, G2, the Buddy and Tina Wright Band, Kentucky Bluegrass All Stars, Cedar Hill, and Tim, Tina and the U.S. Express.
The festival includes museum tours, workshops and a trade show.

Bluegrass veteran Jackie Kincaid has released his third solo album, “Where Did You Go.”
Kincaid has been on the festival circuit for several years, and currently plays mandolin and sings tenor with Larry Sparks.
The new CD has several guest pickers and singers, including Terry Eldridge of the Grascals singing harmony on the title cut. Also on board are Andy Leftwich, Dave Demay, Tony Wray, Fred Duggin and an appearance by the late John Hughey, the well-respected steel guitarist who played for several years with Vince Gill and was a member of the Time Jumpers.
Hailing from Meadowbridge, W. Va., Kincaid is an IBMA member and has played the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Bluegrass Show, Prairie Home Companion Radio Show, the Wheeling Jamboree, Bill Monore’s Bean Blossom festival in Indiana and countless other venues.
He has played mandolin with Mac Wiseman, Wayne Lewis, Tom Ewing, “Uncle Josh” Graves and James Monroe.
