David Church, and his wife, Terri Lisa, featured artists on the RFDTV show, “Midwest Country,” will be performing at Eaglenest Entertainment on June 20th at 7:00 PM in Maggie Valley, NC. The show will feature originals, popular country songs, and “A Tribute to Hank Williams.”

Church, who is from Ohio, has been featured on RFDTV’s popular show, “Midwest Country” every month for the past 3 ½ years. The show is broadcast to over 30 million nationwide via Dishnet, DirecTV, and cable networks. RFDTV recently signed contracts with Comcast Cable, the nation’s largest cable network, which will bring an additional 26 million viewers. David’s popularity on the show has gained him national and international recognition. Joe Jensen, the producer of Midwest Country stated, “We receive more phone calls, emails and letters on David than any other artist. He sounds so much like “Hank” that it’s just uncanny!”

David also co-hosted a benefit during the CMAFest in Nashville, Tenn. with CMA award winning DJ, Kevin Richards from WGNA - Albany, NY. The benefit included celebrities and up and coming artists. The goal is to raise awareness for a foundation called “Melodical Hearts” that works with major artists such as Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton and other celebrities to help children that need adoption, foster care, and help for abuse.

Church was featured on “Kevin Richards’ Country Cruise” earlier this year, along with major recording artists, Richie McDonald (Lonestar), Bryan White, Jimmy Fortune (The Statler’s), and Wayne Warner. Shortly after the cruise, plans were made for the benefit. Richards found out, and volunteered to co-host the event.

The NTCMA (National Traditional Country Music Association) awarded him the prestigious “Rising Legend” title. This is only given out to a choice number of artists that have become nationally recognized for traditional style country music. Church received his award beside bluegrass superstar “Rhonda Vincent.”
