Delaware
June 20-21 — Peninsula Bluegrass Festival - Georgetown, DE. Bluegrass on the Festival bill includes: Hickory Ridge, Wayne T. Holt Band, Lost -n- Time, Mark Templeton & Pocket Change, Shiloh Ridge and others. Tickets are $15 for Friday and $25 for Saturday. A festival pass that includes “Rough” camping can be purchased for $40.
Ohio
June 20-22 — Appalachian Mountain Music Festival - Waynesville, OH. On the bill are: Tymes Past, Ohio River Minstrels, Hithergreen Strummers, Old Time Music Group, Murray Family, Country Grass, New Grass Band and more. The Festival will also feature several workshops from Beginning Dulcimer, Fiddle, Clawhammer Banjo to Celtic Music, Carter Family Music and Harmonica. Tickets are $5 (Fri), $10 (Sat) $8 (Sun) or a festival pass for $20.
Pennsylvania
June 20-21 — Laurel Highlands Bluegrass Festival, Ligonier, PA. Expect to see The Jeanette Williams Band, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Bill Yates and the Country Gentlemen Tribute Band, Mountain Therapy, Blue Shades, Poverty Hollow and more. Tickets at the gate run $15 (Fri) and $25 (Sat) or a festival pass is available for $30.
Tennessee
June 20 at 1:00 (Eastern) — Lovell Sisters, 23 String Band and Justin Townes Earle stop in for a performance on the WDVX Blueplate Special radio show. Listen online at wdvx.com or if in Knoxville, TN stop by and enjoy the show.
Virginia
June 19-21 — Grottoes Family Bluegrass Festival - Grottoes, VA. Bluegrass artists on the festival bill include: Lonesome River Band, Midnight Ramblers, IIIrd Tyme Out, Gold Heart, Newfound Road, Hard Drivin’ Grass, Dark Hollow and more. Tickets are $10, $20 & $25 (Thurs, Fri, Sat) or a festival pass is $55 at the gate.
Washington
June 20-22 — Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival, Cashmere, WA. Bluegrass artists scheduled to perform include: The Infamous Stringdusters, Cadillac Sky, Cascade Mountain Boys, Frontline, Green Mountain Bluegrass Band and more. The Festival will also feature a “Guitar Flat Pickin’” Contest with an SMI Hand Crafted Dreadnaught Guitar up for grabs to the winner. Single day tickets at the gate are $15 / person or $50 for a family of 4 or more. A festival pass at the gate is $20 or $60 for a family of 4 or more.
