Dailey & Vincent hit top of Billboard Bluegrass Chart
Dailey & Vincent (Rounder)Nashville Tenn. — Dailey & Vincent, the acclaimed new duo on Rounder Records, have reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Top Bluegrass Albums chart with their self-titled debut, for the Soundscan week ending June 8 (issue date June 21).They also make their debut on Billboard’s country albums chart at #57.
Released on January 29, Dailey & Vincent debuted at #2 on the Billboard bluegrass chart and has been in the top 5 for 13 of the 19 weeks it has been on the chart. It is also #1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited album chart for the month of June.
At the same time, Dailey & Vincent’s version of “More Than a Name on a Wall,” a top-10 hit for the Statler Brothers in 1989, is #1 for a fourth consecutive week on the Count Down Yonder Weekly Top 17 Songs of SIRIUS Bluegrass. The chart is based on listener requests.
