Revonda Roberts & Harvest Wind – “Stillwater” (C and L Entertainment) will be released this month.

Revonda Roberts and Harvest Wind have just completed their latest recording titled “Stillwater.” It is the third project that they have produced with Nelson McSwain and their first on the new label, C and L Entertainment.

“I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with Revonda and the band again” says McSwain. “They are a great group of people, easy to work with and equally talented. In my opinion, this is their best project to date. C and L Entertainment are honored to have Harvest Wind as part of our label family. We certainly hope this is the first of many projects that we will work together on at the new label.”

The group is a six member, North Carolina based bluegrass gospel band. They perform all original material written by band members Revonda & Justin Bowles. They have an eclectic mix of material which has earned this group two Dove Award Nominations and a 2008 SPBGMA (Society For The Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association) nomination for Bluegrass Gospel Group of The Year in the contemporary category. Their 2008 schedule is full and they are pushing into overdrive with the 2009 season swiftly approaching.

“Their new album “Stillwater” is a collection of original material, offering something for everyone. From the opening song, “Wicked Man”, you can tell that you are in for a ride with this album. Revonda’s lead vocal has powerful bluegrass punch and then she sings with a silky smooth vocal on several of the ballads written especially for this album. The entire band has a definite feel for the music and the harmonies are what every “Bluegrasser” could hope for.” C and L Entertainment

Currently the new record is being sold pre-release by Revonda Roberts & Harvest Wind at their concerts and on their web site. “Stillwater” is scheduled for release in August with a release party on August 22 in Mooresville, NC.
