Bluegrass gospel — and lots of it — is being offered by Gaither.com, well known for its series of “Gaither Homecoming” CD and DVD packages.

“Country Bluegrass, Volume 1 & 2,” featuring a lineup of gospel, bluegrass and country greats, will be released on the Gaither label to stores on Aug. 19.

It’s a big package, broken down into several purchasing options, ranging from about $60 for two DVDs and two CDs to a single CD for about $14.

Using a mix of gospel classics and new favorites, these brand new videos feature performances by the Gaither Vocal Band, Marty Stuart, The Grascals, Buddy Greene, Ralph Stanley, The Booth Brothers, George Jones, Jeff & Sheri Easter, The Isaacs, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Gordon Mote, Jimmy Fortune, Dailey & Vincent, Jason Crabb, Rhonda Vincent, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Larry Sparks, Ben Speer, Lisa Daggs-Charette, Cherryholmes, Vince Gill and many more.”

One highlight being touted is former Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune’s appearance with Dailey & Vincent in a rendition of “More Than A Name on the Wall,” a Fortune-penned tune that is proving to be an emotion-packed concert highlight for Dailey & Vincent’s first summer festival tour. Another is Vince Gill’s “Go Rest High On That Mountain,” featuring composer Gill on lead and backed by Sonya Isaacs and Becky Isaacs Bowman.

The complete package boasts a hefty 40-plus tracks.
