Nashville, Tenn. — Don’t miss The Grascals’ performance on WGN News at Noon this Friday, August 29. They will be performing songs from their recently released CD, Keep On Walkin’. The Grascals’ new recording, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and remained there for five consecutive weeks, is the band’s 3rd release on Rounder Records.
As the reigning 2006 and 2007 IBMA Entertainer of the Year, The Grascals have been hitting the road hard, touring and performing all over the country and making the rounds on national television: CMT, GAC, CBS Early Show and FOX & Friends. They are once again nominated for the 2008 IBMA Entertainer of the Year Award and Vocal Group of the Year Award. The IBMA Awards will be held October 2, 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee.
“The sky is the limit,” said Grascals vocalist and guitarist Jamie Johnson. “We have no boundaries and want to take this music to as many people as we can.”
