ABINGDON, Virginia - On Sunday, September 28th, 2008, Pinecastle recording artists The Dixie Bee-Liners will be kicking off IBMA week with a special sunset concert and barbecue party in Nashville. With a host of surprise musical guests and a barbecue supper included with admission, the evening is shaping up to be a fun (and affordable!) way to kick off World of Bluegrass 2008.
The Dixie Bee-Liners’ Pre-IBMA Bar-B-Cue Blowout will be held on at Norm’s River Roadhouse 20 minutes from Music Row in Nashville. Situated on five acres near the Cumberland River, Norm’s is the perfect place to enjoy bluegrass music. Join The Dixie Bee-Liners and friends for an intimate sunset concert and a barbecue supper, right on the river!
Fans of The Bee-Liners can also catch the band at their Official World of Bluegrass Showcase on Monday evening, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. at the Renaissance Center. “We are unbelievably excited about our Official IBMA Showcase,” says lead singer-songwriter Brandi Hart, “but I’m also looking forward to being able to ’stretch our legs’ and do a couple of full sets at Norm’s. We have an awesome lineup of surprise musical guests, and I’m hoping the evening will end with an all-star jam!”
Norm’s River Roadhouse is located at 7695 River Road Pike in Nashville, TN, 37209. $10 admission includes a BBQ supper with two sides (vegetarian options available), and there will be *live music from 6-9 p.m. Call 615-356-6314 for more information.
