Baucom model joins Deering banjo lineup

The Deering family of banjos has a new sibling — Terry Baucom.
Deering Banjo Company’s new Terry Baucom Signature Model is created of walnut and is the first banjo featuring new technology researched by Jens Krüger of Krüger Brothers fame and Greg Deering. It features Deering’s new rim and lighter weight tone ring.

Rebel’s western venture ends at Spring Creek

Rebel Records has signed a recording deal with Colorado bluegrass band Spring Creek, giving it the distinction of being the first act west of the Mississippi River to record for the Virginia-based bluegrass label.
