Organization offers free mammograms to music industry women

On Monday, Oct. 27, MusiCares is offering free mammograms to women in the music industry in the Nashville, Tenn., area who are in need of these services.
The opportunity is available to women in the industry who are uninsured or underinsured and those who have not had a mammogram in more than one year.

Reischman, Jaybirds to give bluegrass band workshop

The Windy City’s famous Old Town School of Folk Music will present a Bluegrass Band Rhythm Workshop with John Reischman & the Jaybirds on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2:30 p.m.

The band will focus on the rhythmic role of each bluegrass instrument and demonstrate the most effective way to support the soloist.

Grisman regroups ‘Old & In the Way” in new digital venture
