Infamous Strindusters coming to Bluegrass Underground

The Infamous Strindusters are scheduled for a November 8th performance on Bluegrass Underground in the Volcano Room at the Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville, Tenn. The show begins at 2:00 p.m. and tickets are $15 each.

The Bluegrass Underground is recorded for broadcast on 650 WSM where it is heard on the last Friday of each month from 12 Midnight till 2:00 a.m. Performances are also streamed live on wsmonline.com
With “The Infamous Stringdusters” (released earlier this Spring), the award-winning sextet has put on record the dynamic of intimacy and virtuosity that distinguishes their live shows. The eponymous album is both a nod to traditions and a challenge to conventions, proving that the Infamous Stringdusters’ combination of innovation and experience has truly molded a new level of newgrass music.
Since their 2007 debut, Fork In The Road – which earned the band 3 International Bluegrass Music Association awards- the band has built their success story through remarkable talent, constant touring at some of the countries most esteemed festivals and clubs, and a grassroots marketing campaign that relies heavily on their enthusiastic fanbase. 2008 saw them teaming up with movie giants LionsGate films, a
