Kristin Scott Benson Second Season will be released on January 13, 2009.

Pinecastle Records is currently shipping four new CD’s to radio stations and DJs that have release dates set for January and February of 2009. Those CD’s include offerings from the 2008 IBMA Banjo Player of the Year, Kristin Scott Benson, Nothin’ Fancy, Ernie Thacker & Route 23 and David Parmley & Continental Divide.

For those radio stations and DJ’s who are anxious to get new material into rotation, Pinecastle Records offers a digital download service to broadcasters. The digital files are offered in wma and mp3 file formats. More information including a tutorial on using the service and contact information is availale on Pinecastle Records’ web site.

I also hope that radio stations and DJs will take advantage of our Radio Download service provided on the Pinecastle website. You don’t have to wait the 2-3 weeks that it will take for these CDs to reach you. I have also made several CDs from our catalog available on the Radio Download Service. In fact, I spent a good portion of my time on Friday uploading albums to our radio download page and plan to keep adding more as time allows. Many folks have already taken advantage of this service.
