Renfro Valley, KY — Some of Bluegrass music’s finest musicians will lend their support to a friend in need at Renfro Valley’s Old Barn Theater for the “Benefit Among Friends in Honor of Vicki Simmons” to be held on Sunday, November 16th.

Vicki Simmons is best known as one of the founding members of the New Coon Creek Girls in 1979 and performed with that group for 25 years.

Ringgold, GA — “An Appalachian Musical Revival: Live at the Ringgold Depot” brings together 19 artists with the purpose of encouraging youth in traditional music of Appalachia.

The new fundraising CD from the Share America Foundation includes 23 recordings and over an hour of music.
