The Churchman have new Pinecastle CD

The Churchmen’s new CD, I’ll Be Long Gone, which was released this week by Pinecastle Records, reflects a new band configuration.

Band veterans Keith Clark, Freddy Rakes and Gerald Harbour are joined on the CD by new members David Guthrie and Tim Scott.

Guest performers on I’ll Be Long Gone include the CD’s producer Dale Perry on banjo and David Coffey on dobro.

Bradley Walker bringing “A Little Change” to video TV

Burlington, MA – Bradley Walker’s new video, “A Little Change,” a track off his 2006 debut album Highway of Dreams (Rounder), is going into rotation at CMT Pure starting Thursday November 13th. GAC will also be adding the clip into their specialty programming for both the “Edge Of Country” on 11/14 and Positively GAC on 11/16. The video, shot in Nashville, was produced and directed by his friend Rory Feek of the country, singing duo, Joey & Rory.

Larry Stephenson:free concert to benefit BluegrassFM

Fredericksburg, VA — With today’s economy, nothing is more sweet to the ears than “FREE!” On December 6th, 2008, The Larry Stephenson Band and Balsam Range will be giving a free concert to support Bluegrass FM 89.5 & 91.7 as well as the Massaponax High School Fine Arts Department.

Lycrecia Williams Hoover to visit Country Hall of Fame

Nashville, Tenn. — Lycrecia Williams Hoover, the daughter of Audrey Williams and half-sister of Hank Williams Jr., will visit the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum on Saturday, December 13, for an intimate interview in the Museum’s Ford Theater. The program, which is presented in conjunction with the Museum’s exhibition Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy, Co-Presented by SunTrust and Ford Motor Company, will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Hosted by Family Tradition co-curator Michael McCall, the program will include audiovisuals from the Museum’s Frist Library and Archive and from the Williams family.
