Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park hosting the Wilson Family Band November 28

Live Oak, FLA — The Wilson Family Bluegrass Band will be the featured group Friday night, Nov. 28 in the Music Hall after Thanksgiving at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fla. The group will also play on Saturday during the Old Tyme Farm Days and Engine Show which will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28-29 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park.

The Grascals on Middle Tenn. TV Friday November 21

Nashville, Tenn. — For those of you within broadcast range of Nashville’s Fox 17 television station, Two-time Entertainers of the Year artists The Grascals will be featured on TN Mornings this Friday, November 21, at 8:00 am CT.

The Hartmans release “Borrowed Time”

The Hartmans, a family band based out of Loveland, CO, has released their newest album “Borrowed Time.” The project features the groups own arrangements on some timeless melodies and some well drafted original material including the title cut.

The five siblings, who have been performing together for five years, present a “unique appealing blend of vocal harmonies and tasteful instrumental arrangements” on “Borrowed Time.”

The Sunny Side of Appalachia: Bluegrass from the Grassroots by West Virginia author B. L. Dotson-Lewis is fresh off the press. Assembled from impromptu interviews with the likes of Bobby Osborne, Jesse McReynolds, Melvin Goins and Everett Lilly. The Sunny Side of Appalachia takes the reader along a journey through the early years of the artists careers, from playing music in “the honky tonks, one-room schools and on top of concession stands.”

Webb leaves Rage, becomes a Flamekeeper

Multi-instrumentalist Darrell Webb is departing his spot on guitar with the highly traveled Rhonda Vincent and The Rage to join Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper.

The announcement was made Wednesday through East Public Relations, which handles Cleveland’s publicity.

Webb will assume lead vocal and guitar duties with Flamekeeper, two-time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Instrumental Group of the Year.
