Bluegrass Hotel project remains on a roll

The Bluegrass Hotel, a major video and recording project, is rolling along, with a full slate of activities scheduled in mid-December in Kentucky.

The project gets its name from an old Victorian mansion in Louisville, Ky., that was a key component of the bluegrass scene and the home of some major music artists during the Newgrass era of the 1970s.

BlueHighways TV begins roll-out on Verizon FiOS

Hendersonville, Tenn. — BlueHighways TV (BHTV), the multi-platform network that explores the people, stories, traditions and music of America, announced today the start of its launch on Verizon’s FiOS TV. BHTV will now be available to FiOS subscribers on Channel 246 in New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Salisbury, MD, Richmond, VA and Norfolk, VA.

The Grascals honor troops, meet with President and First Lady

Nashville, Tenn. — Rounder recording artists and two-time Entertainers of the Year, The Grascals honored America’s troops last week at Ft. Campbell Army Base in Kentucky with a special performance before President George W. Bush spoke to troops and presented a local hero with the Volunteer Service Award.
