Pigeon Forge, Tenn. — A special Saturday “WDVX Blue Plate Special” this Saturday will feature an appearance by nationally acclaimed Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.
The popular radio show is broadcast before a live audience and will be at a remote venue hosted by The Pottery House Cafe & Grill at the Old Mill Square in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
Led by the International Bluegrass Music Association’s two-time “Male Vocalist Of The Year”, Russell Moore, IIIrd Tyme Out, consisting of Steve Dilling on banjo, fiddler Justen Haynes, Wayne Benson on mandolin and bass player Edgar Loudermilk, has walked away with IBMA’s “Vocal Group Of The Year” award seven consecutive years.
The band has garnered 50 industry awards since its inception in 1991. They are well known for their a cappella renditions of many songs and polished instrumentation.
The Pottery House Cafe & Grill at the Old Mill Square will host a “Special Saturday “WDVX Blue Plate Special” live remote starting at noon Saturday that can be heard online at www.WDVX.com.
Besides Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, the broadcast will feature Barry Scott & Second Wind with the 2008 SPBGMA DJ Of The Year, Freddy Smith, serving as host.
