About Donna the Buffalo

Donna the Buffalo has put countless miles on their vintage bio-diesel bus playing the country’s most prestigious festivals and clubs. Their fervent fan base, nicknamed “The Herd,” follows the band with zeal and has created a unique and supportive community online and at shows across the nation. As an extension of this community and the band’s dedication to live roots music, Donna the Buffalo established its own annual event, The Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance in upstate New York, which draws more than 15,000 people every year. Their seventh record, “Silverlined,” builds on Donna the Buffalo’s signature sound, a bedrock of traditional mountain music infused with elements of Cajun, rock, folk, reggae and country.

About The Steeldrivers

The SteelDrivers were named the number one seller on iTunes in the Americana/Bluegrass Album category for their self-titled debut album in 2008. The group also just received a Grammy® nomination for “Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group” for their song “Blue Side of the Mountain.” One of the most original new bands to emerge from the bluegrass melting pot, The SteelDrivers evoke simplicity, harmony, drive and power, but with new melodies, new words and a new excitement for this time honored genre.

The Loveless Barn was specifically designed to meet the needs of a broad range of events and is equipped with garage doors for easy load-in, open conduit for varying cable needs and an abundance of power outlets. The barn can accommodate anything from a solo acoustic artist to a full band production.

Tom Morales, owner of TomKats, Inc. which owns and operates the Loveless Cafe said, “We made a commitment to making the Loveless Barn a great listening environment and music-friendly venue in addition to its other uses. We’re excited to share the new space with the community and we invite folks to come out and join us for the grand opening event.”
