Pickin' - A Bluegrass All-Star Jam onstage
Pickin’: A Bluegrass All Star Jam has picked up another January tour date.
The group of A-team jammers will perform a three-hour concert, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24, at the Stillwater Community Center in Stillwater, Okla.
In addition, three of the touring musicians will give workshops from 3 to 5:30 p.m. that day.
Sammy Shelor will give a workshop on banjo, Mike Compton on mandolin and Beth Lawrence on bass.
Prices are:
- For the concert: $20 for adults, $12 for students.
- For the workshops: $30 per person
- A combo concert and workshop ticket: Adults, $40; students, $32.
Tentative artists slated to perform, along with the workshop teachers, are Kenny & Amanda Smith, Dale Ann Bradley, Don Rigsby, Byron Berline, Terry & Cindy Baucom, Steve Gulley, Kim Fox, Rob Ickes, Allen Bibey, Josh Williams, Michael Cleveland, Phil Leadbetter and Tim Stafford.
