Pam Gadd releases “Benefit of Doubt”

Nashville, Tenn. — Pam Gadd, best known for stints with Wild Rose and The New Coon Creek Girls, which also featured the talents of Dale Ann Bradley is back with a new project, “Benefit of Doubt.”
“Benefit of Doubt” features Gadd singing a wealth of self-penned tunes along with some well chosen covers, a group of top notch backing musicians and some special guests adding vocal and harmony to the disc’s 14 tracks. The musicians on the project include Gadd, Wanda Vick Burchfield, Mark Burchfield, Aubrey Haynie, Andy Leftwich, and Bryan Sutton. Steve Wariner adds bass on “Farewell Wagon Master”, a tribute to Gadd’s long time boss, the late Porter Wagoner.
Guest vocalists on “Benefit of Doubt” include Dolly Parton who contributes on her song “Applejack.” Steve Gulley, Marty Raybon, Dale Ann Bradley and Nancy Gardner all contribute on harmony vocals.
Cover songs on “Benefit of Doubt” include the Jimmy Martin penned, “Hold Watcha Got.” “After the Fire is Gone” which features a guest vocal by Marty Raybon was written by L.E. White. Others songs include “Tennessee Hound Dog” from the catalog of Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, “Wrong Wrong Wrong” by John Lily and the afforementioned “Applejack” from the pen of Dolly Parton.
