Nothin Fancy - Lord Bless This House (Pinecastle Records)
SPBGMA’s 2008 Emerging Artist Of the Year, Nothin’ Fancy, this week released its first all-gospel CD, Lord Bless This House.
The album features 12 tracks ranging from originals to Bill Withers’ R&B classic “Lean On Me” to the traditional country gospel song “Peace In The Valley.”
Special guests on Lord Bless This House include Rhonda Vincent, who contributes lead vocals on “Heart That Will Never Break Again,” Cody Kilby, Darrin Vincent, and Steven Sheen.
Lord Bless This House was recorded at Adventure Studio in Nashville and was produced by Rhonda and Darrin Vincent.
Nothin’ Fancy was formed as a bluegrass band in September 1994 with the purpose of competing in the East Coast Bluegrass Championship in Crimora, Va. In 2002, Nothin’ Fancy signed with Pinecastle Records and quickly released its debut recording for the label entitled Once Upon A Road. Since that debut, they have grown in popularity and continued on to release Reflections, Album # 7, and now Lord Bless This House for Pinecastle.
