Adam Steffey workshop at Morehead State Univ. March 21

Morehead, KY — Morehead State University’s Kentucky Center for Traditional Music will present a mandolin workshop by Adam Steffey on Saturday, March 21.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at KCTM, located at 149 East Main in Morehead, KY. The workshop is for mandolin players with skill levels of intermediate to advanced.

Steffey is a Grammy award-winning artist and five-time International Bluegrass Music Association Mandolin Player of the Year. He has been a member of Alison Krauss and Union Station, Mountain Heart, and The Lonesome River Band and currently is playing with the Dan Tyminski Band.

The registration fee for the workshop is $50, and $40 for MSU students with a valid student ID. The workshop is limited to 20 and participants can register online at www.kctm.info. The registration deadline is Friday, March 13.
