Updated 2009-04-03 — We have just learned that Ralph StanleyGranada Theater in Dallas on Friday night, April 10. No reason for his cancellation was given has canceled his scheduled appearance at the Granada Theater. More info here.
Dallas, TX — Dr. Ralph Stanley will be playing at the Granada Theater (3524 Greenville Avenue) in Dallas, Texas at 8:00 p.m. on Friday night, April 10. The Granada has generously offered a pair of free tickets to Three lucky winners of the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation drawing and a $5 discount on each ticket purchased by friends of the Foundation through the e-mail link below.
To enter the drawing for a pair of free tickets (there will be three winners!), simply send an e-mail with your contact information (name, e-mail, mailing address, and phone number) to BHFDrawing@gmail.com before 6:00p on Thursday, April 2. One entry per person, please – and only one pair of tickets per winner. The drawing will be held Thursday night and the winners will be notified later that evening.
If you don’t get free tickets, you can still see Dr. Ralph and get $5 off your ticket price. Click on this link, select and reserve your seats, and proceed. At checkout, click “Apply Discount”, enter the Bluegrass Heritage discount code “BGHA” (all capitals-no quotes), click “unlock,” select the new (reduced) price, then click “change discount.” You will need to do this for every seat you have selected. You should see the discounted price right there on-screen, and then you can proceed with the regular checkout process. Make sure you follow these instructions to get your discount. The discount is not available at the Granada ticket window – only for tickets purchased through this link.
