Lil John’s Mountain Music Festival readies inaugural run in Snow Camp, NC

Snow Camp, NC — John and Natalie Maness, proprietors of the Cane Creek Campgrounds & RV Park(1256 Longest Acres Road) in Snow Camp, NC, have announced a new Bluegrass Music festival for the Memorial Day weekend of May 21 – 23, 2009; Lil Johns Mountain Music Festival.

Maness’ father, John Maness Sr., began hosting Bluegrass festivals (as well as being the founder of the well-known Bass Mountain Boys) in 1974….

Special Consensus maps out day in Nashville

Just on the heels of the release of their latest album, Chicago-based Special Consensus plans to do Nashville, Tenn., in a big way later this month.

Band leader Greg Cahill and his supporting trio of pickers, with the help of their label, Pinecastle Records, have declared April 24 “a Nashville day.”…

DelFest announces stage schedule
