New CD due May 19 from Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out performing the first single “Hard Rock Mountain Prison” from their forthcoming album due out later this year.
Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out will release their first studio album in five years next month on the Rural Rhythm Records label, which recently signed the group. The band’s new CD is due to be released on May 19.
Bluegrass radio stations have already received the first single from the CD, “Hard Rock Mountain Prison (Til I Die).”
Meanwhile, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out are back on the West Coast for their second tour of the area. Trip No. 1 was taken last year.
Remaining tour dates include:
- April 8 The Maverick Saloon, Santa Ynez, Calif.
- April 9 Don Quixotes, Felton, Calif.
- April 10 Trinity Center For The Performing Arts, Weaverville, Calif.
- April 11 Willits High School, Willits, Calif.
- April 13 Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, Carson City, Nev.
- April 14 Boise State University–Special Events Center, Boise, Idaho
- April 15 The Swing Station, Colo.
In addition to other touring dates, the band is touting its May 9 appearance at the Bluegrass Underground, a venue deep in the belly of a cave near McMinnville, Tenn. Donna Ulisse will also perform on the same show.
