Pinecastle Records has four major releases in the final stages of production. Release dates on the CDs are scheduled from late summer into fall, but already cuts off the albums are getting airplay.
It sounds like Grasstowne’s new project, The Other Side Of Towne, may be the first to emerge from the Pinecastle stable. A single has already been released on Prime Cuts of Bluegrass vol. 98. The song, “Big, Big Heartaches,” was rated #1 on the disc by DJs nationwide.
Larry Stephenson is putting the finishing touches on his followup to Thankful, which will feature Dailey and Vincent, Ricky Skaggs and other prestigious guest artists.
The Dixie Bee-Liners have just about finished up their concept album, Susanville.
And Josh Williams is also nearly finished with his third Pinecastle release, which has yet to be titled.
Firm release dates for these titles will be announced at a later date.
