Jesse McReynolds Pick Inn gearing up for Summer Bash

Jesse and Joy McReynolds are gearing up for a big weekend of bluegrass music at the Pick Inn in Gallatin, Tennessee on Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th for the Summer Pick Inn Party & Jesse McReynolds 80th Birthday Bash. This two day, music-filled party will celebrate Jesse’s lifetime of musical achievements and offer up the finest in bluegrass music and southern hospitality. Fans, friends and fellow musicians are all invited to share in the fun.
As always, Jesse McReynolds has brought together a selection of fine players and singers including Daniel Rothwell, Judy Carrier & Rens Vreeburg, The Straight Arrow Boys, Smoky Lonesome, The Chigger Hill Boys & Terri and plenty of surprise guests! Radio personality Harv Mason will be your guide through this unforgettable weekend of entertainment headlined by the legendary Jesse McReynolds & the Virginia Boys. The Summer Pick Inn Party will also be the place to be for the 2009 Virginia Boys Band Reunion! All former Virginia Boys band members are invited to attend, perform and share their memories of their time on the road with Jim & Jesse.
The fun begins at 4:00 PM CST on Friday, July 10th with a concert and country-style meal. The music continues on Saturday, July 11th beginning at 12:00 PM. Admission is $10.00 per day. Jesse McReynolds is known world-wide as a bluegrass legend and master of the mandolin.
