Darrell and Phyllis Adkins of Ohio-based Adkins Productions are now directing all proceeds from their mega-benefit, Musicians Against Childhood Cancer Music Festival, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

“As you know, we have been promoting high-quality concerts and festivals for the past 25 years… These concerts formerly held at Frontier Ranch, and more recently Hoover Y-Park in Columbus, Ohio, have drawn thousands of fans from all over the world.”

“With your help and the support of the artists who donate their time and talent, MACC will continue to help children and their families with life threatening illness. Proceeds from this festival will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Since the year 2000, MACC and you have donated $480,000 to St. Jude and the Y.M.C.A., helping children around the world.” — The Adkins Family

Besides throngs of fans, MACC traditionally attracts scores of high-caliber acts from the bluegrass field. This year’s event, the 25th annual classic set for July 22 through July 25, follows that trend.
