At least half of all Flat Rock Music Festival volunteers have been attending and working at the festival for more than five years. Large families even attend and there is something for everyone to participate in. “Our volunteers are the backbone of our event,” states Sarah Benoit, volunteer coordinator, “The festival director and staff know we count on our family of volunteers to support the festival. Without everyone who chooses to contribute their time the festival wouldn’t run nearly as smoothly.” “Plus the people who have been involved with this festival in the past are some of the most fun loving and amazing people I have ever met,” Benoit continues. Volunteer positions are available in security, parking, kitchen staff, Kid’s Village staff, waterfront, housekeeping, set up and clean up.
