Columbia Artists Management, Inc. (CAMI) and Don Light Talent recently announced the exclusive representation by Columbia Artists of award-winning Rounder Records bluegrass duo Dailey & Vincent for bookings in North American performing arts venues. Don Light Talent will continue to manage Dailey & Vincent and book them for all other venues, including bluegrass festivals.

“Were very excited about all of the opportunities for Dailey & Vincent and are looking forward to a long and productive relationship,” said Columbia Artists Vice President, Toby Tumarkin, who will be the group’s responsible agent.

About Dailey & Vincent

Dailey & Vincent, recently called the most celebrated new bluegrass act of the last few years by The New York Times, is the pairing of well-known bluegrass performers Jamie Dailey, former lead singer and guitarist for Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver; and Darrin Vincent, who most recently was guitar and mandolin player and harmony vocalist with Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder. Joined by band members Jeff Parker on mandolin; Joe Dean on banjo, guitar and mandolin; and Adam Haynes on fiddle, the group is in the midst of their 2009 Rolling Your Way Tour, which includes over 130 dates.

Dailey & Vincent took home an unprecedented 7 awards at the 19th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards Show, held on October 2, 2008, at the Ryman Auditorium. They accomplished a feat no other artist has done, by winning Entertainer of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year in the same year, a feat all the more impressive because they had released their debut album and begun touring only nine months before that. They won six SPBGMA Bluegrass Music Awards in February. In March they released their second Rounder CD, Brothers From Different Mothers, which debuted at #1 on Billboards Top Bluegrass Albums chart and remained in the top 5 for 11 weeks. They were guests on A Prairie Home Companion, and they have been featured by the Associated Press, Billboard, Country Weekly, CMT.com, Bluegrass Unlimited, Bluegrass Now and Bluegrass Music Profiles. They made their Grand Ole Opry debut on December 29, 2007, and continue to make regular guest appearances.
