Univ. of Minnesota Press releases new book on Dylan

The University of Minnesota Press has announced the release of a new book of essays titled Highway 61 Revisited: Bob Dylan’s Road from Minnesota to the World. Colleen J. Sheehy and Thomas Swiss are the editors of this book that examines Bob Dylan and the world-wide reach and influence of his music.

The book includes 23 black and white photos and runs 312 pages and is available in cloth or paperback binding. Copies may be orded through the University of Minnesota Press web site….

Rob Ickes CD Release show at Station Inn

Nashville, Tenn. — Rob Ickes will celebrate the release of “Road Song,” the first release on Ickes new label ResoRevolution, on August 12th at the famed Station Inn in Nashville, Tenn. The show begins at 9:00 pm (doors at 7:00) and cover charge is $12. Joining Ickes will be pianist Michael Alvey and vocalist Robinella.
