Dailey & Vincent honor Eddie Stubbs, Pete Fisher

Nashville, Tenn., — Award-winning bluegrass duo Dailey & Vincent recently presented the first of their Door Opener Awards, tokens of their appreciation to a small group of industry insiders whose support “opened doors” and helped launch their career.
Jamie and Darrin presented the first award to WSM on-air personality and Grand Ole Opry announcer Eddie Stubbs during their show as part of the Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman series. After a performance that drew four standing ovations from a wildly appreciative crowd, Jamie and Darrin called Stubbs to the center of the stage and thanked him for his longstanding support.
Following their performance at the Tuesday Night Opry on August 11, Jamie and Darrin presented the second Door Opener Award to the Opry’s General Manager, Pete Fisher. Fisher booked the duo for their debut performance on the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman on December 29, 2007, the first show of their first tour as a duo.
