Murphy Method offering 1/2 price sale, Casey Henry to teach at FiddleStar Music Camp

The Murphy Method website has cooked up a great sale that runs from now through August 31, 2009. All their Murphy Method Banjo DVDs and Videos including the Slow Jam Discs will be offered at half-price ($14.98 each). Orders over the phone or via the Murphy Method website can take advantage of the offer.
Some of the titles in the sale include: “Beginning Banjo,” “Capos, Chords and Theory for Beginners,” “Jam Session Standards,” “Clawhammer Banjo,” “Advanced Earl,” “Ralph Stanley Style Banjo” and many more.
Casey Henry will teach at FiddleStar Music Camp
Casey Henry will be teaching banjo at the “FiddleStar International Jam Camp” presented by FiddleStar and The Murphey Method in Ridgetop, Tenn. The camp runs from Sept. 24 – 27 and still has some open slots for those interested.
FiddleStar Music Camp will feature instruction by FiddleStar founder Megan Lynch, Casey Henry, Ron Stewart, Kristin Scott Benson, David Thomas, Chris Jones, Dave Harvey and Jon Weisberger.
According to the FiddleStar website, “camp tuition is $500 (US) and includes all meals and lodging however, on-site lodging is limited.”
