“Bluegrass Bands and Helping Hands Day” in Dalton, GA set for Sept. 26

Dalton, GA. — Mountain Heart & The Dixie Bee-Liners are among the bands scheduled for a September 26 concert hosted by Bluegrass Bands and Helping Hands. The organization was created by Dalton, GA area bluegrass musicians. Proceeds from the event are earmarked for DOC-UP, a local charity that helps out area people in need.
Due to area rain and flooding, the Bluegrass Bands and Helping Hands concert will be held at an alternate location in the beautiful “Recreation Place” at the First Presbyterian Church on South Tibbs Road in Dalton, Ga.
100% of the proceeds go to help North Georgia residents that have been devastated by job loss. Bluegrass Bands and Helping Hands is hoping to reach their goal of raising $15,000 dollars.
Tickets are on-sale now for $15 adults, $5 students, under 12 free. Tickets will also be available at the gate.
