Nashville, Tennessee – Patrons of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store from coast-to-coast have a wonderful new book to browse in the “Country Store” as they wait for seating for their favorite home cooked meals!

Horse Country, the latest book by celebrated Nashville author Lisa Wysocky, visits with the biggest stars from the Grand Ole Opry and beyond, inviting readers into the private world they share with their beloved horses. Based on exclusive interviews, and packed with personal photos in a stunningly lavish four-color presentation, Horse Country offers readers a rich collection of humorous, uplifting, and often touching stories of horses that have galloped into the lives of artists such as Brad Paisley, Kix Brooks, George Jones, Tanya Tucker, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith and many more. More than two dozen artists are included in the new book Cracker Barrel has chosen to offer in their retail locations.

The book was a labor of love for Lisa Wysocky, a former Nashville based publicist, who turned her lifelong love of horses into her full time passion. Now a therapeutic riding instructor who conducts equine clinics nationwide, she is the author of additional books that include My Horse, My Partner, (Lyons Press) and The Power of Horses.

A full list of artists featured in Horse Country includes:
Eddie Montgomery (Montgomery Gentry), Toby Keith, Tanya Tucker, Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Mark Miller, Fred Gill (Two Foot Fred), Clay Walker, Too Slim (Riders In The Sky), Heidi Newfield, Chris LeDoux, Trent Willmon, Joni Harms, Charlie Daniels, Janis Oliver (Sweethearts of the Rodeo), Hal Ketchum, Roy Clark, Tracy Byrd, Lacy J.
