Nashville, Tenn., — Sam Bush recently celebrated the release of “Circles Around Me” and his 25th wedding anniversary with a soirĂ©e held at Nashville’s Sound Emporium studio. As part of the marketing campaign for “Circles Around Me” a series of “track by track” video episodes will be gradually unveiled on Sam’s website. Episode #1 is currently available for viewing on SamBush.com.

Footage includes live performances of album tracks by Sam and the band, interview segments and scenes from album release week.

The sessions were tailor-made for Cowboy Jack Clement’s Cowboy Arms Hotel and Recording Spa, where the house rules include timeless gems such as Don’t Be Timid While Playing and No Headphones.

Clement is one of Music City’s greatest producers, songwriters and characters – the man who discovered and championed Charley Pride and the man who put mariachi horns on Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire”. His boundless joy is a quality shared by Sam Bush, and the Sam Bush Band felt right at home recording acoustically at this historic shrine of Nashville music.

Out on October 20th, “Circles Around Me” currently holds the #3 spot on the Billboard bluegrass chart, and weighs in at #47 on the new artist chart. The album is also the #2 most added album at Americana Radio.

Produced by three-time Grammy winner Bush, the 14-song set includes appearances by Del McCoury, Edgar Meyer, Jerry Douglas and, thanks to the discovery of an old demo, New Grass Revival co-founder Courtney Johnson (posthumously). The album also employs the phenomenal talent of Bush’s band: Scott Vestal, Stephen Mougin, Byron House and Chris Brown.
