The International Bluegrass Music Association’s Leadership Bluegrass Program is accepting applicants for its March class.

The Leadership Bluegrass Program brings together a cross section of music industry professionals to take an intense look into the future challenges and opportunities the genre faces.

The Leadership Bluegrass Program class is slated for March 9-11, 2010, in Nashville, Tenn. Those interested in participating are encouraged to apply for a limited number of openings.

Participants represent a cross section of current leaders from various facets of the industry and diverse regions of the nation and world.

Applicants can go to the IBMA Web site for an online application form, a list of alumni and comments from the class of 2009.

A $300 participation fee is charged IBMA members for Leadership Bluegrass Program; non-members pay $370 (which includes a one-year IBMA membership).

All class members are expected to bear the expense of travel and lodging during the program, and they must plan to be present for the entire three-day schedule.

A limited number of partial scholarships and travel assistance grants are available to applicants, based on need.
