“Carolina Road” Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road
Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road is the newest endorser selected by the Colorado Case Co.
And there’s no question about whether Jordan actually uses the company’s custom cases. In a press release, Colorado Case of Forth Collins, Colo., described Jordan as “a long-time customer.”
“Lorraine has generously provided most, if not all, her band members with a Colorado Case Co. soft case on their birthday,” the release said.
The company is now in the process of screening endorser applicants from professional musicians.
Since posting an Internet message last month about how the company selects its endorsers, it has received “quite a few inquiries from many talented people who wanted to be an endorser for us. We have added one to date, have two other verbal agreements and are in talks with a few others. As they come on board we will showcase them individually,” the company said.
Lorraine Jordan, Colorado Case’s new endorser, grew up around bluegrass music on the coast of North Carolina. She has performed bluegrass music for over 20 years and formed Carolina Road in 1998. She continues to be the driving force behind Carolina Road’s popularity and longevity.
Lorraine is a consummate performer, songwriter, emcee and show organizer. Her solo project, “Road Trip For The
Lord” was on the gospel charts for over year. Lorraine plays a Monroe-style mandolin and is known for her hard driving mandolin chop.
She has been a finalist in the IBMA song-writing showcase and was the first runner-up in the prestigious national song-writing contest at Merlefest. Jordan, along with Gina Britt, was responsible for the formation of the Daughters of Bluegrass, whose project won the IBMA recorded event in 2006.
