Danny Barnes, a founding member of the Bad Livers, (and not to be confused with Danny Barnes, the fine mandolin player for Charlie Sizemore), has found a potent ally in his new CD, Pizza Box.
Fans who pre-order the CD will receive an exclusive bonus featuring Barnes and the Dave Matthews Band performing songs from the new CD. The recordings were made live during the band’s recent gig at The Gorge in George, Wash. The bonus CD is available only through pre-order, and 10 copies are being autographed by Barnes and Matthews. They will be distributed at random.
On Pizza Box on the ATO Records label, “Barnes spins tales of American life like a latter-day John Steinbeck, wielding banjo and pen with equal effect, and the character of his voice as the perfect mouthpiece to truly bring these songs and stories to life.
Information on pre-ordering the CD is available online at ATO Records
