Charlie Daniels "Joy to the World: A Bluegrass Christmas"

Charlie Daniels has announced two autograph-signing events to meet fans and promote his new Christmas DC/DVD, Joy to the World: A Bluegrass Christmas.

Daniels will be at Opry Originals at 300 Broadway in downtown Nashville, Tenn., from 9 to 10 p.m. this Saturday (Nov. 21) after his band performs on the Grand Ole Opry from the nearby Ryman Auditorium.

His second appearance will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday (Nov. 23) at the Charlie Daniels Museum, 110 2nd Ave. N. in Nashville. That session will be held prior to The Charlie Daniel’s Band’s Christmas for Kids, a sold-out event also slated for the Ryman Auditorium.

Joy to the World: A Bluegrass Christmas, is a two-disc set including a CD and a bonus DVD, A Twin Pines Christmas.

The project features collaborations between Daniels and guests Kathy Mattea, Dan Tyminski, Jewel, Suzanne and Evelyn Cox of the Cox Family, Aaron Tippin and The Grascals.

A Twin Pines Christmas DVD contains live performances, as well as additional commentary and interview footage with Daniels and the rest of the artists.
