The national day of Thanksgiving has nearly arrived.
According to Wikipedia, the holiday was started as a harvest festival, to give thanks for nature’s bounty and to express gratitude in general.
“Thanksgiving dinner is held on this day, usually as a gathering of family members and friends,” Wikipedia states.
Well, we certainly aren’t here to offer you an extra helping of our leftover mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry salad or cold turkey.
But we do consider BluegrassJournal.com to be “a gathering of family members and friends,” as Wikipedia suggests. This Web site is our kitchen dining table where we welcome friends to pop in to find out what’s new in bluegrass.
We’re glad you stopped by. And more and more of you are popping in each day, which certainly is gratifying. In the cyber world, there truly is always room for one more, so keep coming back and bring your friends with you.
Come in, sit a spell and poke around our Web site at your leisure. And let us hear from you.
Simply for stopping by; we are very grateful and give thanks for your presence.
What we’re trying to say is: Happy Thanksgiving from BluegrassJournal.com.
